Handmade Basket

A handmade plastic wire basket (commonly known in India as a Wire Koodai) is a durable, handwoven carry bag or storage bin made from vibrant, high-grade plastic wire spools.

Key Features & Design

• Craftsmanship: Artisans interlock plastic wire strips using traditional hand-knots (such as the Sivankan or cross-cut knot patterns) without needing a running wire base in many designs.
• Structure & Durability: The tight weaving provides high-load capacity (ranging from about 5 kg to 10 kg depending on the size), keeping the bag from losing its shape even with heavy daily use.
